Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – Karlsruher SC has to do without its central midfielder Tim Breithaupt in the game of the 2nd Bundesliga at Hansa Rostock. This was confirmed on Friday by assistant coach Zlatan Bajramovic, who represented KSC head coach Christian Eichner, who was suffering from a flu infection, at the press conference on Friday. Breithaupt suffered an ankle injury in training, but the exact diagnosis is still pending. “I don’t think he’s ever dropped out, except once because of a suspension. That hurts a bit,” said Bajramovic before the game on Sunday (1:30 p.m. / Sky).
After three wins in a row, KSC is going to Rostock with self-confidence, but Bajramovic warned against the Hanseatic League and their fans. “I’ve never experienced it louder than in Rostock,” said the 43-year-old. In addition, Rostock is currently like a battered boxer: “Always dangerous.” However, after the fan riots at the away game at FC St. Pauli, FC Hansa banned choreographies in the stands of the Ostseestadion for the rest of the season. Two people were injured in the riots in Hamburg on Sunday.
