Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – L-Bank supported companies in Baden-Württemberg with loans and grants totaling 3.5 billion euros in the first half of the year. This was announced by the state-owned institute on Friday in Karlsruhe. Due to the decline in Corona aid, the total funding volume fell in the first six months of 2022. In the same period of the previous year, a total of 5.3 billion euros had been paid out.

Economics Minister Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (CDU) said that the funds had secured 213,000 jobs in the current year and even created around 8,500 new jobs. This shows that these are the right support measures in uncertain times.
