Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority has imposed a fine of 498,000 euros on Landesbank Baden-Württemberg for failing to report suspected insider trading. The accusation was not directed against an employee of the bank, but against a customer, as a spokesman for the largest German state bank announced on Wednesday in Stuttgart. He did not give any further details with reference to banking secrecy. The bank accepts the fine.
