Hagnau (dpa / lsw) – A motorboat sank on Lake Constance off Hagnau on Thursday. As the police announced on Friday, the two boat occupants brought themselves to safety and came ashore on their own. The boat was recovered, no one was injured. The officials emphasized that the two boat occupants acted correctly in their emergency: “In an exemplary manner, they wore their life jackets and steered their boat immediately in the direction of the nearest safe bank when they recognized the emergency.” The cause of the accident was still unclear.
