Tübingen (dpa/lsw) – State structure, separation of powers and fundamental rights: After the forced break caused by corona, refugees in Baden-Württemberg can again be offered courses in civics. Minister of Justice Marion Gentges (CDU) gave the go-ahead for the revised program on Wednesday with a first teaching unit in the initial reception center in Tübingen. 300 judges and public prosecutors have signed up for this voluntary program, which is financed by the state parliament with 100,000 euros. “Coexistence only works with common rules and rules only work with an understanding of what they are intended to achieve,” said Gentges.
