Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – After a long period of drought, rain is on the way again in the south-west: the new week will bring summer temperatures, but also thunderstorms and showers. The German Weather Service (DWD) announced that strong thunderstorms were already possible during the course of Monday. Tuesday, on the other hand, is expected to remain mostly dry with temperatures of up to 31 degrees on the Rhine and 25 degrees in the mountains. It’s supposed to rain again on Wednesday. Individual showers and thunderstorms threaten, especially in the west, later also in the east of the country. It stays warm in summer.

The increasing cloudiness continues on Thursday with repeated rain and thundery showers. The maximum values ??are then up to 27 degrees from the Kraichgau to the Taubergrund. In the mountains, a maximum of 19 degrees is reached. In the night to Friday it cools down to 12 degrees.
