Hettingen (dpa / lsw) – After accidentally driving past a burning house in Hettingen (Sigmaringen district), emergency services took care of the seriously injured resident. Firefighters had previously rescued the elderly woman via a ladder from the first floor, the police said. The woman was taken to a hospital. The house caught fire on Wednesday for reasons that were initially unclear. The police estimated the damage to be in the six-figure range.
