Rastatt (dpa/lsw) – Due to a delivery bottleneck for certain semiconductor components, there are currently production restrictions at the Rastatt plant of the car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. A spokesman for the company said on Monday that the way the plant was run would be adjusted on a daily basis and largely compensated for by short-time work. The company’s plants around the world ran “mostly unrestricted” this week. In the coming week, however, production in Rastatt will be paused due to the ongoing supply bottleneck, the spokesman said. The “Badische Latest News” had previously reported on it.
