Lauda-Königshofen (dpa / lsw) – A forest worker discovered a fawn with gunshot wounds to the head and hind leg. As the police announced on Friday, an unknown person without a hunting license shot the deer in the affected area in the Main-Tauber district, but did not kill it. The deer is said to have suffered from its injuries for up to three days before it was found and killed by a hunter on Wednesday. As early as January and May, suspected poachers are said to have shot at two deer near Lauda-Königshofen.
