Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – With a rap song, a boy from Karlsruhe with cancer wants to encourage his mother for the time after his death. The radio stations RPR1 and Radio Regenbogen played the song “In meine Baumhaus” on Wednesday morning at the request of the sick 13-year-old Milas, as RPR1 program manager Andreas Holz said. The boy, who is suffering from bone cancer, sleeps a lot and is treated with strong medication.
Torsten Kreb from the youth club in Schifferstadt (Rhineland-Palatinate) reportedly asked Milas what was important to him, then wrote the song and made sure that the boy could record the song with the rapper Mr.EisT33. The song can also be heard on a streaming service. All proceeds from the song will go to cancer research.
“I’ll sit in my dream house, high up in the clouds in my tree house. Send you rainbows, because then you smile,” the song says. For Milas, the tree house is the heaven to which he will come and where he will meet all the people who have died before him.
