Kehl (dpa / lsw) – According to the police, there was a threat in the vicinity of a school in Kehl (Ortenaukreis) on Thursday. According to witnesses, a shot was heard. The officials are in action with strong forces, as the Offenburg police headquarters announced on Thursday. Even when asked, it was initially not possible to find out whether people had been harmed.
The incident reportedly happened around 2:15 p.m. Police officers would not have found anyone on site. It is now being searched for those involved, it said in a statement. A spokesman said more details would be announced later.
