Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) – Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart will meet German record champions FC Bayern Munich in a Saturday night top game on March 4 (6:30 p.m.). This emerges from the schedule for matchdays 20 to 25, which the German Football League announced on Tuesday. VfB are also guests at relegation rivals FC Schalke 04 the week before on a Saturday evening (February 25). Otherwise, the Swabians will play four times during this period at the classic time on Saturday afternoon (3.30 p.m.), including the Baden-Württemberg duel at SC Freiburg on February 11th.
For the Freiburg Europa League round of 16 team coach Christian Streich, the series of Sunday games in the Bundesliga will continue from the end of February. The team from Baden have to play against Bayer Leverkusen (February 26) on Sundays, as well as against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (March 12) and FSV Mainz 05 (March 19). Hoffenheim have also been assigned a floodlit game on Friday evening at FC Augsburg (8:30 p.m./February 17).
