Hilzingen (dpa / lsw) – Wasps probably caused a fire on an electric shutter on a residential building in Hilzingen (Konstanz district). The insects had previously eaten the wiring, causing a fire in the roller shutter box, the police said on Wednesday. The 78-year-old resident of the house extinguished the fire himself on Tuesday evening. The extent of the damage was initially unclear. Nobody was hurt.
