Villingen-Schwenningen (dpa/lsw) – The Schwenninger Wild Wings have signed the Latvian national player Miks Indrašis for the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The club announced this on Monday. The 31-year-old last played for EHC Biel-Bienne in Switzerland. The left-handed shooter previously played 524 games in the Russian-dominated Eastern European KHL.
“Miks is an offensive player who has a lot of international experience. He’s a very good goalscorer and plays extremely responsibly on defense. On top of that, he’s a player with a strong character and a strong team spirit,” said Schwenningen’s head coach Harold Kreis about the new signing. The squad planning for the coming season has been completed for the Wild Wings for the time being.
