Baden-Württemberg: Woman dies after an accident with a fugitive polluter on the A6

Mannheim (dpa / lsw) – One day after a serious car accident on Autobahn 6 near Mannheim, a woman died. The 29-year-old succumbed to her injuries in a clinic, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. On Sunday she was a passenger in a car that was cut by a van and then slammed against a concrete barrier. The driver who caused the accident drove away and the police were looking for witnesses. An approaching motorist recognized the accident too late and drove into the car. He was also seriously injured, the woman’s passenger suffered minor injuries. There was damage of 30,000 euros.
