Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – In a head-on collision in a tunnel in Karlsruhe on Monday afternoon, a woman was trapped in her car and had to be cut free by the fire department. She was taken to a hospital. According to a police spokeswoman, nothing else is known about other injuries. The two-lane Wattkopf tunnel in the south of Karlsruhe was closed in both directions for the duration of the rescue work. Detours have been set up.
