The woman injured when she was in a home in Deba (Gipuzkoa), presumably by a firearm shot, apparently fired from outside the property, has died in the hospital, as reported by the Basque Department of Security.
Death occurred at the Donostia Hospital as a result of the severity of the injuries he suffered.
The Ertzaintza investigation remains open to clarify the causes of this event. Sources from the Security Department do not venture any hypothesis at the moment, although they have confirmed that “there was a hunt of hunters in the area.”
Relatives of the victim alerted the Basque Police shortly before three o’clock this Sunday about what had happened to the woman, who was on the ground with a bleeding wound to her head.
Emergency services have been sent to the scene, including an ambulance and patrols from the Local Police and the Ertzaintza.
The woman was assisted in the home and later evacuated to the Donostia Hospital, where she died.
Police resources have verified that a window pane had an entrance hole with a trajectory apparently coming from the outside.
