Pegnitz (dpa / lby) – At least six people were injured in an accident involving several vehicles on Autobahn 9 in Upper Franconia on Monday morning. The police were initially unable to provide any precise information on the severity of the injuries. According to initial information, twelve vehicles are said to have been involved in the accident between Trockau and the Franconian Switzerland exit near Pegnitz.
The cause of the accident is not yet known, said a police spokeswoman. A longer traffic jam had formed on the A9 in a southerly direction.
