Bavaria: accident with five vehicles on the B85: polluter volatile

Bayreuth (dpa / lby) – Several people were slightly injured in a traffic accident involving five vehicles on federal highway 85 between Bayreuth and Heinersreuth. According to initial findings, a driver wanted to overtake in the direction of Heinersreuth (Bayreuth district), but had probably overlooked the oncoming traffic. A driver in the oncoming lane slammed on the brakes, causing three other vehicles to hit his car, police spokesman said on Saturday. The person who caused the accident fled.
