Weißenfels (dpa/sa) – In an apartment building in Weißenfels (Burgenlandkreis), a mongrel dog fatally injured another four-legged friend. The 66-year-old owner was in the stairwell with his Bolognese on Friday afternoon when the Cane Corso-Stafford Terrier mix of a 42-year-old escaped from an apartment and attacked his peers, a police spokesman said on Saturday in Halle. Both masters could not separate the animals. The Bolognese died in the stairwell. The 66-year-old then attacked and threatened the 42-year-old dog owner and damaged his apartment door. The police are investigating various crimes.
