Augsburg (dpa / lby) – The Augsburg Panthers offer the talents Lennard Nieleck and Christian Hanke chances of probation in the German Ice Hockey League. As the club announced on Tuesday, the two 18-year-olds from the U20s of Augsburger EV were granted funding licenses for the 2022/23 season.
“Lennard Nieleck and Christian Hanke are two talented strikers. We want to make young German players better and show them a clear way to develop at the highest level here in Augsburg,” said coach Peter Russell.
Michael Gottwald, on the other hand, will leave Augsburg for Herne. After a concussion threw him back, the defender is fit again. Now he would like to play more again at Oberliga side Herner EV.
