Bad Reichenhall (dpa / lby) – During a border check on Autobahn 8, the federal police found three kilos of marijuana in a traveller’s luggage. The 28-year-old man was on board a coach at the Walserberg in Austria near Bad Reichenhall, according to the federal police. When checking the passengers on Thursday, the officials noticed him because he was wanted by several public prosecutors. They asked him to get off the bus with his luggage.
While he claimed to only have one bag with him, the other passengers pointed out another backpack to the police officers, which apparently belonged to him. Inside were 16 sealed packages of marijuana with a total weight of almost three kilos. According to the police, the sale value is around 28,000 euros. He also had a one-handed knife and a fake driver’s license with him.
