Holzkirchen (dpa/lby) – Between August 29 and September 8, the Bavarian Regiobahn is canceling several train connections on the Munich – Holzkirchen – Rosenheim and Munich – Rosenheim – Salzburg/Kufstein routes. The BRB announced on Wednesday that the reason for this was corona-related sick reports from train drivers, customer advisors and the staff in the depot. That’s why she “cancels a few trains throughout the day”. For some others “there are different departure and arrival times than in the regular timetable”. The trains are to be extended with additional cars. BRB Managing Director Arnulf Schuchmann said that many employees had taken on additional shifts, others had returned from vacation. But now it is no longer possible without temporarily thinning out the timetable.
