Rothenburg ob der Tauber (dpa/lby) – A senior citizen rammed his car into a mother and her stroller at a pedestrian crossing in Central Franconia. The stroller overturned and the baby in it fell on the street in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the police reported on Wednesday. The 80-year-old driver also hit the 33-year-old mother.
The two-month-old baby was taken to a hospital with abrasions after the accident on Tuesday, and the 33-year-old suffered a fracture of her right fibula. According to the police, the 80-year-old saw the woman and her stroller too late, which is why the collision occurred.
