Schwandorf (dpa / lby) – A driver crashed his car into a trailer on the Autobahn 93 in Upper Palatinate. It had just detached itself from the trailer hitch of a vehicle in front and lurched across the two lanes, the police said on Monday. The trailer was apparently not properly attached by its 54-year-old owner. The 48-year-old driver of the following car could no longer avoid the incident on Saturday near Schwandorf. Both his car and trailer were severely damaged. Nobody got hurt.
