Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) – An eleven-year-old boy was attacked and beaten by several other children in Ingolstadt. The eleven-year-old was said to be shopping in a supermarket with his two-year-old brother on Saturday. When the two left the store, they were harassed by four other, previously unknown children, the police said on Sunday. The four are said to have punched their victim in the face and stomach, pushed him to the ground and kicked him. The exact age of the attackers was unknown, the police assumed children.

The eleven-year-old and his brother were able to flee to another parking lot, but the group ran after them. The children are said to have struck again. Then they are said to have walked in the direction of a playground. The 11-year-old suffered abrasions and a bump on his head. The police are now looking for witnesses who can give information about the crime and the children.
