Nittendorf (dpa / lby) – In the dispute over a remote control, a father took his adult daughter’s cell phone away – and she then got a knife. The 20-year-old and her 40-year-old father were slightly injured in the argument in the Upper Palatinate, the police said on Tuesday. The father took the woman’s cell phone away on Monday evening in Nittendorf (Regensburg district). The daughter then claimed the cell phone with a kitchen knife.

Her father took the knife from her, grabbed her by the neck and threw it against the wall of a closet. The daughter allegedly kicked her father’s back and slapped him in the face, a police spokesman said. The father received a reference and a ban on contact, both of which are now expected to be reported.
