Haldenwang (dpa / lby) – An 82-year-old was seriously injured while chopping firewood in the Allgäu. The police said on Friday that they split wood in Haldenwang (Oberallgäu district) on Thursday. It was probably due to an operating error that she got into the machine intended for this purpose. A rescue helicopter flew the woman to a hospital.
