Lichtenfels (dpa / lby) – A hand grenade from the First World War was found by a homeowner in Upper Franconia. The 65-year-old cleaned up his tool shed in Lichtenfels on Friday and discovered the gun there, police said on Saturday. Specialists from the State Criminal Police Office were able to recover the grenade. There were no more explosives in it. The homeowner was unable to answer how the hand grenade got into his shed.
