Theilheim (dpa / lby) – After a breakneck chase, the police in the Würzburg district stopped a 32-year-old man. On Sunday he fled from a police check near Theilheim via the A3 – the officers later found a small amount of amphetamine on him, as the traffic police inspection announced on Monday. Despite the man’s reckless driving style, no one was injured in the chase.
On the autobahn, the man forced other drivers to brake hard several times by changing lanes at risk. The police continued to pursue the 32-year-old on federal highway 8, where he ran into oncoming traffic several times. After a risky turn at a gas station and numerous other dangerous overtaking maneuvers, the police finally managed to force the man to stop with several vehicles.
