Munich (dpa / lby) – Spezi is considered a cult. The non-alcoholic drink is a popular choice, especially in the beer garden. Numerous breweries offer the mixture of orangeade and cola under different names. Now, starting today, two breweries from Augsburg and Munich are arguing before the Munich I Regional Court about the brownish fizzy drink. The Munich-based company Paulaner wants to have the court determine that it can continue to call its soda mix “Spezi” in the future. The Augsburg brewery doubts that. In any case, there is a lot of money at stake: the value in dispute is said to be 10 million euros.
