Munich (dpa / lby) – Two criminal cases from Bavaria were discussed in the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY… unsolved” on Wednesday evening. The police in Rosenheim announced on Thursday that around 90 tips had been received in connection with the killing of a student in Aschau im Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria. According to the information, there were around 25 indications of an attack on a value transporter in Alzenau in Lower Franconia. All information would now have to be checked, it said.

According to the police, the clues in the Aschau case related primarily to a wristwatch, which is considered an important lead and whose origin is unclear. In the community in the district of Rosenheim, a 23-year-old student did not come home at the beginning of October after visiting a disco. Hours later, a passerby discovered her body in a creek. Officers later recovered the victim’s leather jacket and purse, as well as a ring. According to the information, the wristwatch was also near the ring.

The Rosenheim police are also asking all visitors who were in the “Eiskeller” nightclub in Aschau on the evening of October 2nd or the night of October 3rd to report. A media upload portal was activated for this purpose.

On August 19, a valuables transporter loaded with gold granules was attacked in Alzenau (district of Aschaffenburg). Two armed perpetrators then stopped the vehicle, tied up the two occupants and fled with the loot. A little later, the police discovered the suspected getaway vehicle, which had since been set on fire. The two aggrieved companies have offered a reward of 100,000 euros for decisive information. According to a police spokesman, the information received on the occasion of the TV program related primarily to the handcuffs and the getaway vehicle.
