Schwäbisch Gmünd (dpa / lsw) – An unknown driver fled after causing an accident by losing vehicle parts near Schwäbisch Gmünd (Ostalbkreis). Among other things, a radiator came off the car while driving, the police said on Thursday. It was badly damaged in an accident, they said. The following 33-year-old driver could no longer avoid it on Wednesday evening and ran over the lost vehicle parts.
The stranger drove away, but the 33-year-old could be persuaded to stop a little away. When he wanted to call the police, the driver of the car that caused the accident and his passenger fled again. In the course of the initiated search, the officers found the car, but not the occupants. Police are now looking for witnesses to a possible accident the car may have been involved in.
