Augsburg (dpa / lby) – The Augsburg police searched a meeting place of suspected left-wing extremists after threatening two local AfD politicians. The left-wing group is suspected of having spread so-called “enemy lists”, as the police headquarters in Swabia North announced on Thursday. In November last year, unknown persons published leaflets with the names, addresses and photos of the couple, who are active in the right-wing populist party, and sprayed the slogan “AfD attack” on the sidewalks in front of the apartment and the business premises in neighboring Friedberg.

The police found several people in the searched rooms who are attributed to the left-wing group. According to the police, these are listed as witnesses, not as suspects. Investigations are being carried out on suspicion of “dangerous dissemination of personal data”.
