Tiefenbach (dpa / lby) – Two wood accidents with injuries occurred on one day in Tiefenbach in the Passau district. A 54 and a 65-year-old man were injured, the police said on Tuesday. On Monday morning, a 54-year-old was working in a sawmill and a piece of wood under tension jumped against his chest, a spokesman said. The man was badly injured.
A few hours later, a 65-year-old man sawed a tree trunk in half on his property. Part of the trunk fell on his leg and trapped the man. Both injured were taken to hospitals.
