Marktoffingen (dpa/lby) – An unknown person caused damage of around 350,000 euros on the site of a biogas plant in the Donau-Ries district. The perpetrator came to the site in Marktoffingen by car and got stuck on Monday night, the police said. He then pulled the car free with a tractor standing there. The tractor overturned in a fire pond and was sunk. In order to get off the premises, the man drove a wheel loader against a yard gate and then fled in his car. The exact circumstances and background were still unclear on Monday morning.
