Berching (dpa / lby) – In the Upper Palatinate, a walker has again discovered a headless deer carcass. This is the eighth case of this kind there this year alone, as the police announced on Friday. The Kripo Amberg is now investigating on suspicion of hunting poaching.
The dead animal was found in a field near Berching in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate. According to the information, it was a female animal. No gunshot wounds were found, a police spokesman said. How the animal died was therefore initially unclear. The police are asking hunters in particular for information on possible perpetrators.
