Waldaschaff (dpa / lby) – A man caused a rear-end collision on the A3, in which six people were injured, some seriously. On Saturday, the 24-year-old had overlooked the end of the traffic jam that had formed after a minor accident near Waldaschaff (Aschaffenburg district) and collided with a car that was being pushed onto other vehicles. The A3 had to be completely closed for four hours, the police said on Sunday. A 45-year-old and his 41-year-old wife were trapped in their car as a result of the collision and sustained serious injuries. Her 13-year-old son, like the 24-year-old and another driver, suffered only minor injuries. The passenger who caused the accident had to be taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
