On Saturday morning, a shallow earthquake measuring 6 magnitude shook the southern Iran. According to the initial report by IRNA, five people died in the earthquake.
The earthquake that shook Hormozgan province, in particular Sayeh Khosh was the worst affected, also left 19 people injured. According to the United States Seismological Institute, (USGS), the earthquake occurred 100 km southwest of Bandar Abbas.
