The XV of France won a ninth consecutive win by defeating Japan (42-23) Saturday, during the first match on the Blues’ summer tour.
Fabien Galthie’s men were pitiful during the first period, but formidably efficient afterwards. They scored five tries through Matthis Lebel (45th), Yoram Mefana (61) and Pierre Bourgarit (68th).
