Mücke (dpa/lhe) – After a knife attack on a 29-year-old man in Mücke in the Vogelsberg district, the investigation is ongoing. According to previous knowledge, the two men were work colleagues, as a spokesman for the Gießen public prosecutor announced on Friday. The exact reason for the dispute in an apartment is still not known. However, there are indications that the men were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime.
A 36-year-old man attacked the 29-year-old with a knife on Tuesday evening and seriously injured him. The suspect was arrested at the scene of the crime. On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued against him for attempted manslaughter in combination with dangerous bodily harm. As is usual in such cases, the man will now be examined psychiatrically.
