Dresden (dpa/sn) – The Saxon Ministry of Culture has launched a podcast on the culture and language of the Sorbian minority. The ministry announced on Friday in Dresden that it was part of the “Sorbian? Well, of course!” campaign. In the podcast, Sorbs should have their say and talk about themselves and the Sorbian community. The campaign is primarily aimed at people who speak little or no Sorbian. That is why the podcast will always be in German, but will also contain Sorbian vocabulary and bilingual terms. The entire project aims to raise awareness of cultural and linguistic diversity and also to encourage bilingualism.
