Flörsheim am Main (dpa/lhe) – A 37-year-old man was stabbed to death in an argument in front of a kiosk in Flörsheim (Main-Taunus-Kreis). The alleged perpetrator, a 32-year-old man of Syrian origin, was subsequently arrested nearby, police said. He was due to appear before a magistrate on Saturday. It was initially unclear what the dispute between the two men on Friday evening was about.
The argument escalated. The two men are said to have attacked each other with beer bottles. The 37-year-old was so badly injured by the knife that he died on the spot despite a rescue operation. The perpetrator was injured in the argument. He initially fled, but was then arrested. After receiving medical treatment, he was taken into police custody.
