Groß-Umstadt/Jungenheim (dpa/lhe) – In the district clinics in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, a ban on visits will apply again this Wednesday due to the corona pandemic. “The decision is necessary because, especially in the past few days, we have had the impression that Corona is being carried into our houses from outside,” said the management of the clinics with their locations in Groß-Umstadt and Jungsheim on Tuesday. In Groß-Umstadt, all plannable admissions, operations and interventions would also be postponed, insofar as this is medically justifiable. There are only exceptions to the ban on visits in special cases, such as in the case of demented patients, children or expectant fathers. But then a daily, negative test must be submitted.
