Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The multiple Olympic champion Isabell Werth started with a victory in the international horse show in Frankfurt am Main. With her horse Emilio, the 53-year-old from Rheinberg received a score of 74.631 percent in the Grand Prix on Friday. She won clearly ahead of Sweden’s Patrik Kittel with Forever Young (73.630). Third place went to Matthias Alexander Rath from Kronberg with Destacado (72.870). The traditional event, which is taking place for the 49th time, had been canceled for the past two years due to the corona pandemic.
