Michelstadt/Darmstadt (dpa/lhe) – A man died when two cars collided head-on in the Odenwald. On Tuesday he was driving one of the two cars that collided on the federal highway 45 between Michelstadt and Bad König, as the police in Darmstadt announced. A 72-year-old man drove the oncoming car with a trailer. He was taken to a hospital with injuries. A 37-year-old crashed into the vehicle in front of her and sustained minor injuries. She also came to the hospital. Her passenger survived the accident “externally undamaged”. An expert should now clarify the exact course of the accident.
