Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Because he is said to have cut the face of a neighbor in a homeless shelter with a knife, a 55-year-old man has had to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court since Monday. Between the two room neighbors there should have been arguments about noise pollution and open doors before the crime. As the defendant said on the first day of the trial, he wanted to teach the annoying roommate with the knife a “lesson”. But he had no intent to kill. The victim has visible scars on his face since the attack. The jury has scheduled three more days of hearings until early August.
