Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – A man was fatally hit by a truck on the A3 near Frankfurt Airport. As the police announced on Tuesday, the previously unidentified person entered the right lane of the motorway towards Würzburg on Monday evening at the level of the “The Squaire” office building via the hard shoulder. There he was hit by the vehicle and thrown to the ground. Police say it’s unclear why the man entered the roadway. According to initial findings, there was no external influence.
