Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) – A man was hit by a regional train in Frankfurt-Eschersheim and died on the spot. Despite an emergency braking of the train in the area of ??a construction site, the collision could not be avoided on Tuesday, as the police announced on Wednesday morning. According to the current status of the investigation, the officials assume an accident. There was no information about the background. The train service had to be temporarily suspended on Tuesday.
