Borken (dpa/lhe) – The Free Voters of Hesse are meeting today (10.30 a.m.) in Borken, in the Schwalm-Eder district of North Hesse, to draw up their state list for the state elections in autumn 2023. According to press spokesman Thorsten Strack, it is expected to have 60 to 70 seats. The designated top candidate is the party’s state chairman and member of the European Parliament, Engin Eroglu.

According to the spokesman, around 200 delegates are expected to attend the state conference. The free voters are not yet represented in the Hessian state parliament. In the 2018 state election, the party won three percent.
